Jin Shi joined Hazelview Investments in September 2011 to which he progressed to Director, Trading and Technology in July 2015. In his current role as Managing Partner, Chief Technology Officer, Jin focuses on the support of middle and back office operations, has oversight responsibility for the post-investment trade lifecycle and acts as the central liaison between the internal function groups and external parties for Hazelview Securities Inc. to address and support operation tasks and issues.

Jin has seven years of experience in trading and technology. In his previous trading roles with Hazelview, Jin was responsible for carrying out equities, foreign exchange and derivatives orders, as well as coordinating trade settlements and building various quantitative models. Prior to joining Hazelview, Jin was a high frequency equity trader.

Jin holds a Bachelor of Science from Queen’s University.
