Julio joined Hazelview Investments in January 2024 as Associate, Assistant Controller. In his role with Hazelview, Julio is responsible for managing accounts payable, overseeing cash management and corporate accounting, in addition to assisting the Corporate Controller in the creation and development of new systems, processes, and strategic financial initiatives.

Julio most recently worked at Youthdale Treatment Centres as a Finance Manager where he supported annual budgeting process, monthly and annual financial reporting cycles, and managed organizational cash flow and forecasting.  Prior to this, Julio worked at Hays Specialist Recruitment as a Senior Accounting Manager where he led the month end close, improved financial procedures and internal controls, as well as maintained the intercompany accounts.

Julio holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Business Management from Toronto Metropolitan University. He is currently pursuing his CPA designation and successfully wrote the CFE in 2022.
