Philip Du joined Hazelview Investments in April 2013. In his current role as Partner, Associate Portfolio Manager, Phil builds quantitative models for the portfolio management team, calculate investment returns, analyze performance attributions, and advise on hedging strategies. Phil is also responsible for developing Hazelview’s in-house application that provides reports and analytics on demand to the investment team. Phil was involved in various operation and trading capacities during his earlier years at the company.

Phil has ten years of experience in equity markets and computer programming. Prior to joining Hazelview, Phil was a high-frequency equity trader.

Phil holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Schulich School of Business, York University with a specialization in Finance.
