Sunny Rai joined Hazelview Investments in January 2021 as an Associate, Trading. In his current role with Hazelview as Partner, Sunny is responsible for the execution of Hazelview’s global equity and FX transactions as well as supporting general trading middle/back-office functions.

Sunny brings over 15 years’ in equity trading and capital markets experience. Prior to joining Hazelview, Sunny most recently worked for BMO Financial Group, prioritizing institutional foreign exchange sales. Prior to this, Sunny developed his skillset in the trading of bonds, derivatives and global equities while executing varying trade strategies while he worked for Global Maxfin Capital / NCP Northland Capital Partners as an Associate Vice President and previous to this, Flatiron Capital Management Partners as a Senior Trader.

Sunny obtained his Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto.
