Tim Fitzpatrick joined Hazelview Investments in May 2018 and in his current role as Partner, Compliance & CCO of Hazelview Securities Inc., Tim is responsible for the development and maintenance of the compliance program that identifies, measures and monitors compliance with applicable laws and regulations that govern the firm. Tim works closely with the Legal, Operations, Trading and Portfolio Management groups to ensure investment activities are conducted in accordance with investment objectives and applicable legislation.

Tim has over 15 years of experience in the investment management industry. Prior to joining Hazelview, he was the Chief Compliance Officer at a boutique manager, worked for one of the largest investment fund companies in Canada as well as the Ontario Securities Commission.

Tim has a Bachelor of Finance and Economics from Dalhousie University, holds the Chartered Investment Manager designation, is a member of the National Society of Compliance Professionals, the Alternative Investment Management Association and the Portfolio Management Association of Canada.
