Vanessa Mian joined Hazelview in January 2017. In her current role as Managing Partner, Chief Human Resources & Strategy Officer for Hazelview and its subsidiaries, she is responsible for overseeing the corporate strategy team which includes Strategy, People & Culture, Technology, and Sustainability.

Vanessa has over 15 years of progressive experience in human resources management and strategy. Prior to joining Hazelview, Vanessa held numerous HR and leadership roles in both Canadian and Global organizations within various industries including FinTech, mining, consulting, and international quick service restaurants.

Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Brock University, is a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL), and has recently obtained her Masters of Business Administration from the Kellogg Northwestern-Schulich York global executive MBA program.
