What exists on site today?
Dixie Square Apartments - 2 apartment buildings at 1720 Bloor Street and 3315 Fieldgate Drive.
What is Hazelview building here?
Hazelview will be adding two new rental apartment buildings and an indoor amenity building adjacent to the existing Dixie Square Apartments. Specifically, a 6-storey, 92-unit building facing Kirkwell Crescent, a 15-storey, 265-unit building facing Bloor Street, a 3-storey indoor amenity building in the middle of the four buildings and outdoor amenities.
What type of amenities will be part of the new buildings?
The new buildings will feature a building with ~11,000 Sq Ft of indoor amenities, as well as additional 3,700 Sq Ft of outdoor amenities to service the entire community. Residents of the new buildings and those living at Dixie Square Apartments will have access to all indoor and outdoor amenities.
The Process
When will construction start? How long would it take?
Construction will begin in Q4 2024, with a target completion in Q4 2027.
